3D BIM Model & Estimating Coordinator

Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with strong 3D modeling and BIM experience to support our construction and design projects.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating design data, producing accurate models and drawings, and ensuring documentation aligns with real-world construction needs. This is an on-site role suited to someone who is technically skilled and confident working independently while collaborating with engineers, architects, and site teams.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Software proficiency: Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modeling tools.
  • Technical drawing skills: Strong ability to read and produce accurate and
    detailed construction drawings.
  • Problem-solving ability: Comfortable identifying and resolving design conflicts.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes: Understanding of industry workflows, standards, and best practices.
  • Construction awareness: Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and sequencing.
Job Responsibilities
  • BIM 3D Model Development:
    ● Use 3D modeling tools to coordinate and integrate construction methodologies, survey data, and temporary works designs.
    ● Create precise 3D BIM models and generate associated plans, sections,
    elevations, and details.
    ● Develop and maintain accurate, detailed 3D models in accordance with evolving project requirements.
    ● Extract construction quantities and material take-offs using BIM software.
    ● Clash detection and resolution: Identify and resolve design conflicts within the 3D model.
    ● Drawing production: Produce construction drawings, schedules, and other project documents directly from the BIM model.
    ● Understand and align deliverables with client standards, specifications, and drawing requirements.
    ● Interpret architectural and engineering plans to create integrated building system models.
    ● Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and feasibility.
    ● Continuously update models to reflect project changes and feedback.
  • Estimating & Contract Administration Data Integration:
    ● Wunderbuild – Assist in estimating quantities and project costs based on BIM data into Wunderbuild.
    ● Updating price lists.
    ● Importing and exporting project data.
    ● Prepare and send scope of works via quote requests.
    ● Obtain and collate information received from quote requests.
    ● Prepare detailed proposal
