Congratulations for Registering You & Your Team for iGROW 2025!

Now you’re in, let’s immediately look at the logistics for the event so you can plan your flights and accommodation. First and foremost, we want you to read the all-important Master Plan below. This will walk you through the main flow of the experience and help you to make decisions around a couple of the variations and options you have available. After that, we are going to look at available airlines to book your flights and also the options that you have for accommodation.

Dates & The Master Plan

The iGROW Conference runs over two half days and sits inside an entire week of planned and unplanned activities. To explain, let’s run through the entire experience, and we’ll explain everything.

  • After you book your flights and know your arrival time into Dumaguete, we suggest you tell your team. If they are based in Dumaguete and already there, they may wish to meet you at the airport to welcome you. Given its a weekend, they may not be able to do so due to other commitments. In this case, please speak to them about arranging a driver to pick you up and take you to your hotel, as it is a small airport, and taxis are hard to find.

  • Next, if you arrive on Saturday, 31st May, or Sunday, 1st June, make a plan with your team. They may wish to take you around town, show you their favorite places, and enjoy a nice meal. Or if they’re busy on Sunday, ask them to help you make a plan or simply relax at the hotel.

  • Then on Sunday, 1st June, at 6 p.m., we are inviting all business owners already in Dumaguete to join us for a Welcome Drink at a place called The Pawnshop. This will go on until approximately 8 p.m. and after this, you can go get dinner or retire for the night.

  • Come Monday, 2nd June, it’s a typical work day, and the name of the game is for you to spend as much time with your team as possible. This may involve working alongside them at the office for the day. Or taking them through a day of training, led by you, covering important things that you want them to know. At the conclusion of the day, we will be meeting again for a beautiful business owner dinner at 6 p.m. at La Mensa Italian Chophouse.

  • Then on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th, this is what we call iGROW. For each of these days, we want you to arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. as the event will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp on both days. Then, the event will finish at 1 p.m. each day, and this will be followed by a buffet-style lunch with your team at the venue. At 2 p.m., the event is over, and we suggest you make plans to spend time doing more training back at the office or arrange your own team-building activities.

  • On the first evening of iGROW (3rd) we suggest you plan your own dinner with your team or meet us somewhere for a casual dinner and drinks. The on final day of iGROW participation includes tickets to and dinner at our official after party. Venue TBA.

  • Moving on to Thursday 5th. On this day you will likely spend the first half of the day with your team, but in the afternoon, this is where plans will diverge. If you are joining the majority, we will be traveling by boat to the nearby island of Siquijor. This will take approximately one hour, and upon arrival, you will check into your hotel. That might be when we will likely meet for drinks and receive a briefing for the next day.

Alternatively, if you wish not to partake in the Big S’Cool Walk, Thursday 5th and Friday 6th are days for you to spend with your team how you wish. Then, on the weekend, you can make the journey home or stay at one of the nearby resorts to relax and unwind.

  • Now, to Friday 6th, the Big S’Cool Walk. This is a personal challenge to raise money for underprivileged and underfunded schools in the Philippines. The walk starts at approximately 6 a.m. with the challenge of walking or running between 10 and 50 km, which is the approximate circumference of the island. Of course, there is no expectation on the distance, so you can walk as little or as much as you like. And if you wish to retire, you’ll be able to go back to your hotel or continue the journey in a mini bus. The end of the day, you will go back to your hotel and crash.

  • Then on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th, you will have the choice to relax at your hotel or resort in Siquijor or boat back to Dumaguete on either day to begin your journey home.

PLEASE NOTE: Major decisions such as your flight and accommodation should be made in advance, and done so in consultation with your Filipino-based team. However, smaller decisions such as organizing dinners, activities, and ferry tickets can be made once you are there.

Finally, to better explain the plan, we have made a visual. Please save this image or take a photo of it on your phone so you know the big picture, master plan.
