The WrkPod Standard
To maintain a high-integrity competitive environment, all participants must adhere to the following structure and compliance milestones.
- CATEGORIES & ELIGIBILITY
- Intermediate (M/W): Individual Min. 3.40 / Max 3.99 | Combined Team Max 7.50.
- Open (M/W/Mixed): Individual Minimum 4.00.
- Entry Cap: Strictly 24 teams per category.
- Selection Rule: In the event of over-subscription, final entry is determined by Rating Priority. The 24 teams with the highest combined DUPR ratings will be selected for the main draw. No DUPR = No Entry.
- RELIABILITY GUIDELINES (Entry Standard)
To ensure accurate and fair seeding for all participants:- Pre-Registration Requirement: A minimum 60% DUPR Reliability is required to pass initial technical vetting.
- Waitlist Status: Players below the 60% threshold may be placed on the Priority Waitlist until the requirement is met or slots become available.
- Ongoing Play: Once confirmed, players are encouraged to continue logging matches to improve their reliability for more accurate seeding; however, it will not affect eligibility once the slot is secured.
- TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE & FORMAT
- Phase 1 (Round Robin): 24 teams divided into 4 groups. Every team is guaranteed 5 games. The top 2 teams from each group advance to the Finals Series.
- Phase 2 (Finals Series): Single elimination format starting from the Quarter-Finals (Top 8 teams).
- Scoring: Elimination & Playoffs:
- Elimination & Playoffs: 1 Game to 15 (Win by 2). Hard Cap at 17 for Elimination Rounds only.
- Championship Games: Best 2 of 3 sets to 11 (Win by 2).
- REGISTRATION & VETTING WORKFLOW
- Stage 01 | Intent to Play: Submit team data and DUPR IDs.
- Stage 02 | Vetting & Ranking: The technical committee reviews skill brackets and ranks teams by combined DUPR rating.
- Stage 03 | Approval: Confirmation is sent to the Top 24 highest-rated teams. Remaining qualified teams are moved to the Priority Waitlist.
- Stage 04 | Payment: Teams have a 48-hour window to settle fees and officially lock their slot.
- LOCK DATE & FINALIZATION (May 22nd)
- Final Draw: This is the date for final confirmation of all participating teams.
- Release: Official tournament brackets and match schedules will be released to the public.
- No Changes: No further player replacements or category changes will be permitted beyond this date to ensure a seamless start to the Championship.
- REFUND & REIMBURSEMENT POLICY
- Standard Policy: No refunds for general withdrawals or “no-shows.”
- Waitlist Replacement: If a confirmed team must withdraw and their slot is successfully filled by a team from the Priority Waitlist, refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
