Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on improving processes and performance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyse sales and marketing performance data to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas of improvement.
- Perform competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify industry trends.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies that support business objectives.
- Provide recommendations for optimising marketing campaigns, sales processes, and customer engagement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives through data analysis and metrics.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales and marketing workflows.
- Work with cross-functional teams to automate reporting and other processes for efficiency.
- Ensure alignment between sales and marketing functions to optimise lead generation and conversion.
- Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting, ensuring alignment with overall business targets.
- Analyse past sales performance to help predict future trends and set realistic goals.
- Analyse past pricing performance to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyse industry competitors and benchmarks for pricing and prepare recommendations on market performance and opportunities.
- Support the Marketing team in budget allocation and ROI analysis for marketing campaigns.
- Act as a liaison between the Sales and Marketing teams, providing analytical insights to drive better coordination and alignment.
- Present findings and insights to senior leadership in clear and actionable formats.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams to understand ongoing sales and marketing needs and provide support accordingly.
