The WrkPod Standard
To maintain a high-integrity competitive environment, all participants must adhere to the following structure and compliance milestones.
- CATEGORIES & ELIGIBILITY
- Intermediate (M/W/Mixed): Target Rating: Individual Min. 3.40 / Max 3.99
- Advanced/Open (M/W): Target Rating: Individual Minimum 4.00.
- Vetting Rule: The ratings listed above are target and preferred standards to help players self-select the appropriate category. The Technical Committee will review all entries and reserves the right to reassign teams to ensure the most competitive and balanced brackets possible.
- SKILL VALIDATION
To ensure accurate and fair seeding for all participants:- Pre-Registration Requirement: All players must provide a valid DUPR ID during the pre-registration phase.
- Skill Transparency: Players are expected to have an active DUPR profile. This serves as the primary tool for the Technical Committee to verify placement.
- Alternative Assessment: For players with limited DUPR history or “unrated” status, the Technical Committee will perform a manual skill assessment. This includes reviewing past tournament podium finishes, local club rankings, and athletic history to determine the most fair placement.
- TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE & FORMAT
- Phase 1 (Round Robin): Round Robin format where every team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 games. The top teams from each group advance to the Finals Series.
